Last Friday, 2 October, the Docbyte team traded screens and meetings for a day in Mechelen. We discovered local beers, walked through the historic centre and took the time to appreciate just how beautiful this city is.
A beautiful setting for a team day
From the impressive Grote Markt to quiet waterways and historic streets, Mechelen made a memorable backdrop for a day away from our usual routines. Naturally, we also made room for a few local brews. The tasting was approached with the appropriate level of professional curiosity.
Puzzles, teamwork and a few clever solutions
Then came the challenges. With clues to connect, riddles to crack and puzzles that required a good mix of logic and teamwork, our team showed that it is smart enough to solve just about anything. Some answers came quickly; others required a little more debate, creativity and persistence.
Most importantly, it was a chance to spend time together, enjoy a new place and strengthen the team beyond our day-to-day work. We returned with good memories, a fresh appreciation for Mechelen and renewed confidence in our collective problem-solving skills.
