Introducing Docbyte Vault 26.2

Docbyte Vault 26.2 was released on 27 May 2026. This release adds scheduled preservation jobs, extends integration options and aligns Vault Admin terminology more closely with the OAIS reference model.

Release highlights

• OAIS-aligned naming organises Vault Admin around Ingest, Preservation, Access, Administration and Storage.
• Webhook notifications complement email notifications with custom headers and a customisable message body.
• UBL 2.1 schema support helps archive and search structured metadata from Peppol e-invoices and credit notes.
• Adobe Acrobat Sign integration supports automatic ingestion of signed agreements and their metadata.
• S3 drop-bucket ingest enables automatic ingestion when files are placed in a configured S3 bucket.
• Evidence Record Service improvements support centralised long-term preservation evidence.

The release also contains improvements and fixes for retention actions, legal holds, deletion lists and ingest validation.
