Introducing Docbyte Vault 26.1

Docbyte Vault 26.1 was released on 6 March 2026 with updates that make day-to-day administration, reporting and archive navigation more capable and more consistent.

Release highlights

• User Management in Vault Explorer helps administrators view, add, edit and disable users, assign roles and manage accounts directly from the interface.
• On-demand reporting makes it possible to run a report immediately and download the result.
• Parquet export for usage reports supports downstream BI workflows, including Athena-based analysis.
• Improved Browse experience brings Browse closer to Search, with a metadata view and a collapsible right-hand panel.
• Profile-based archiving configuration supports additional ingest-related settings, including SIP storage policies and pre- and post-ingest actions.
• Password reset for local users is available through a standard “Forgot Password” flow.

The release also includes fixes and usability improvements across Vault Explorer and Vault Admin.
