Docbyte Vault 25.4 Release Highlights

Alongside new functional improvements, this release also includes technical upgrades across the underlying libraries and a streamlined approach to configuration, permissions, and setup. These changes make the platform easier to manage, easier to deploy, and easier to configure by customers and partners.

• Post-retention “delete renditions” lets record managers configure retention rules that upon disposal remove the renditions from the package while keeping the package.
• About section has been added in Vault Admin, Vault Explorer & Vault Review with links to help manuals, support desk, product name, version number, etc.
• Ingest, notification and report forms have been simplified with clearer and detailed descriptions and fewer steps to reach the form.
• Create button has been standardized to the top right document actions menu across all forms for consistency.
• Permissions across menus, tabs and actions have been cleaned up for more consistent visibility.
• User manuals have been expanded with guides for collections, retention, deletion lists, reports and more.
• Transfer AIP – a new feature that allows users to generate and transfer a SIP from a selected package to another tenant.
