Over the years, Docbyte has created a set of products which fullfil specific needs in the ECM-space.
Some of these are functional add-ons to existing products, such as EMC|Documentum, others are products in their own right. We've created these products initially, because in several customer projects, we very frequently saw a recurring need for solutions to similar problems.

The PDF format has become a primary choice of representing and distributing information at low cost, both on local networks as well as the World Wide Web. PDF support is also seamlessly integrated into EMC|Documentum 5.3 and 6 platforms. docShifter automates the conversion of documents into PDF and ODF1, among many other formats. These renditions are automatically added to the original document in the repository.

Ever wanted to integrate data in an MS Word template? Ever needed an application capable of parsing custom scripting logic or injecting data in MS Word documents? Well, docWriter is a reusable and lightweight Java API which allows data-driven document generation. Data can be pulled from a number of data sources and injected into MS Word templates to generate new documents with a minimum of effort.

docViewer is a basic read-only viewer, based on WDK 6.0, that allows an easy access to scanned documents stored in a EMC|Documentum repository. The viewer can be easily integrated with existing back office applications via a “contextual” link. This viewer was primarily aimed at usage in the context of Electronic Patient Records.
