About
Docbyte was founded in 2006 by two experts in the field of Enterprise Content Management. The scope was originally solely on the Documentum product set. The offices were originally located in the center of Ghent (Gent). In the meanwhile, Docbyte has changed quite a bit. The consultant and management team have expanded considerably as did the product portfolio. Docbyte has created some products that were lacking in the marketplace and the knowledge about ECM was applied to other third party products that were added to the portfolio.
We've grown organically without external funding, which allowed us to sit back and think things over properly without having someone looking over our shoulder and having to worry about getting our turnover maxed.
